CatholicCare Melbourne provides support, counselling and information for all welfare issues, individual or family related. Mary of the Cross Centre is a Fitzroy based branch of CatholicCare Family Services that works with the community of Melbourne to assist it in dealing with the harmful effects of drug and alcohol abuse.

In particular, the Centre works with and cares for families, and culturally and linguistically diverse communities. Their work is with and for all people, irrespective of religion, race, cultural background, gender, age, or any other criteria.
